The Novosibirsk city government has declared a state of high alert due to the threat of flooding at Engineer Budagov Square near the right-bank interchange of the bridge over the Ob River. As the party responsible for the operation of the bridge and the adjacent infrastructure created under the concession agreement, VIS Group is constantly monitoring the situation in the area. There are currently no signs of flooding in the service area. The drainage system has been completed in accordance with the design and is operating normally. Prior to the heavy snowmelt, the storm drains were cleared and flushed, and an agreement was signed with a contractor to promptly provide a pump truck in the event of blockages. Snow was also removed from the interchange area to prevent excessive burden on the drainage system.
The bridge crossing on Ippodromskaya Street opened to traffic in December 2025. The main route of the 5-kilometer road, the entire right-bank interchange, and 12 exit ramps of the left-bank interchange are now open to traffic. The bridge was built under a concession agreement between the Government of the Novosibirsk Region and VIS Group. Work is currently ongoing at several sites on the left bank without impediment to traffic.
The fourth bridge in Novosibirsk connects Yuzhnaya Square with Truda Square. It provides access to the Irtysh, Chuysky Trakt, and Sibir federal highways. The six-lane road with multi-level interchanges eliminates traffic lights and ensures uninterrupted traffic flow between the parts of the city separated by the river.
