The Orekhovaya Sopka microdistrict is one of the most dynamically developing areas in the regional capital. Its construction potential exceeds 1 million m² of housing, and the area itself is included in the key projects of Khabarovsk's master development plan. A modern urban environment is being created here, with special attention paid to social infrastructure.

Due to rapid growth, existing educational institutions are unable to offer seats to all children in the microdistrict. Therefore, the decision was made to build a new, modern school designed for elementary, middle, and high school students.

Under the concession agreement, Shkola.1 was involved in the creation of the 2,100-seat educational complex, developing the technical specifications for the design and concluding a land lease agreement for the construction site.

In 2025, the parent company of VIS Group's construction division, VIS Production Company, won the general contract for the construction of a comprehensive school in Khabarovsk's Zheleznodorozhny district. Thereafter the holding proposed to regional authorities that the company take on the obligations of the concessionaire. In February 2026, following an auction, VIS Group became the owner of the concessionaire for the school construction project.

The project will be implemented from 2025 to 2027. Following the facility's commissioning, VIS Group will assume responsibility for the building's technical operation until the end of 2038.

The new school will be the largest in the Khabarovsk Region. The educational complex will be divided into separate blocks for elementary, middle, and high school. Its total area will be over 38,000 m². In addition to standard classrooms, the project includes additional facilities, including a video conference room, a digital technology room. Stadiums and courts for various sports will be built around the general education institution.
